Kendrick Gibson, known to close friends and family simply as “KG” began a career in fashion in 2006 as a print model and doing runway show’s for local Chicago designers.  With an eye for fashion and style, Kendrick started to pursue a career as a fashion stylist in 2009 and formed his own company “A New You Image Consulting Services”. With a keen ear to the urban demographic he has become legendary for his ability to forecast and deliver the latest trends. His personal style aesthetic is often quoted as being “urban sophisticate with a touch of edge and sex appeal”.  His strategy is simple he takes urban street wear and fuses it with current high fashion trends. Effectively modernizing the clients look.

Intrigued by the creative process that happens behind the camera, Kendrick began creative directing the photo shoots that he styled as well as producing fashion shows for local Chicago designers. Not one to shy away from opportunity, he soon began getting in front of the camera. This lead to Kendrick TV hosting and producing beauty and style segments for Cable Access Network (CAN TV) in Chicago. To those that know him personally, Kendrick is labeled as cool, loyal and down to earth. He keep’s himself grounded by surrounding himself with positive, progressive, and motivated individual’s. Focused on taking his career to the next level, Kendrick is constantly seeking inspiration and guidance within the industry. He is known for becoming entranced in studying and perfecting his craft.

Kendrick in his spare time enjoys a good laugh and appreciates a good sense of humor, healthy discussions of pop culture, a good card game of spades and a good martini, shaken not stirred. His professional portfolio includes, Model coach for Brown Talent Management in Chicago, stylist for up and coming R&B Singer Marcus East, Reality TV Personality Laura Mitchell and a list of Chicago designers and models. Kendrick has also held the role of creative director. Some of his work includes shoots for Chicago Crown Magazine, various MAC Cosmetic Ads, as well as other local Chicago publications. Kendrick is on a steady incline and has become a positive and motivating force within the lives of those who are fortunate to call him “friend.”  He has earned his status as a Gentleman of Chicago and as he is quoted as saying…Stay In Style…Cheers…Deo
