This past January, I met with my team and vocalized my desire to do a sexy Valentine’s Day project.  Staying in-line with our strategic goals, my only perimeters were to be provocative and innovative. I communicated my anguish at the new and popular trend of aggrandizing those with attractive exteriors, while grossly ignoring those with profoundly stimulating interiors. If mere men were going to personify and manifest The Fly-Life, then I needed nothing less than husband material. Regardless of demographic, socio-economic background or geographical location; I needed men that exemplified the core-concepts of our views on husband material. These were men that not only possessed physical beauty but also substance.  As editor, I wanted to highlight men that were alluring and also profoundly upwardly mobile and mentally captivating. Men that, I myself, would connect with. My initial charge was to filter through the masses and settle on fifty.  As content began to pour in, I quickly realized, fifty was too large of a number to adequately give these men the platform to exert themselves.  These men had stories and they needed to be told. The team and I settled on my lucky number 17 and the fun began.

The Flyy-Life 17 Most Flyy & Eligible Bachelors was born. These gentlemen exemplified not only the upmost sophistication and professionalism, but they also possessed stories and insight that gave each of them substance. These are the men of our community that are exhausting due-diligence to stay on the upwardly mobile path while also looking great while doing it. These are the future leaders and standard bearers of our community. These are the men that would make anyone happy; intimately, mentally, physically and professionally.  Especially me. These men have embraced a mentality that understands “fabness” is not manifested in how many oiled abs you may spotlight on cyberspace.  Fabness is the ability to bring substance to the table and understand that the exhausting plight to remain upwardly mobile, regardless of your current station in life, is the way to ensure a successful and respectful future.  That’s what me and my peers respect. As a bachelor, you may not have reached your mountain top yet, but you are well on your way and that’s the type of man I want on my arms. Hello Flyy-Life, My name is Jonathan Scott, also known as Jon Jon.  I am a Washington, DC native and I’m 31 years young.  My birthday is in June which makes me a Gemini. To put it simple, I am a multi-talented vocalist, award nominated songwriter, internationally recognized recording artist, performer, acclaimed event producer, radio personality, host and taste-maker. I’m not sure how much of a secret it is anymore, but I am an amazing cook and cooking for people I truly care about makes me very happy.  One way to know I have a lot of love for you is if I offer to cook for you. I find cooking very relaxing and therapeutic and seeing someone enjoy a meal I’ve prepared brings me a lot of joy. One motto in life I keep in mind in all endeavors is “success has many fathers and failure is an orphan.”  I constantly remind myself in life and in my career  that there will always be an ebb and flow with peaks and valleys.  I accepted the reality a long time ago that when things are going well there will always be someone around to help you take credit for the successful outcome, however when things aren’t the best, very few, if any want to own responsibility for that. I can talk for hours about pop culture, entertainment, music, and history.  I am more knowledgeable about vintage entertainment than I am about things that is current, however it’s all relateable considering everything old is new again. Hi Flyy-Life, As Chicago native and the youngest of seven children, I’ve always remained motivated to get things accomplished no matter the circumstances! At the age of 23, I became part owner of a modeling agency named Ruffstone Productions. Although I later moved on from this company, my focus remained strong. Through the course of a couple of years, I later started a promotional company which I named after my childhood nick name, Celleau Productions. Within a years time, my company had been responsible for getting artists on 13 digital radio stations and booked at shows held at many of the prominent clubs within our community.  In 2014, I am excited to marking my 11th show,collaborating with Benjamin Cottrell,  owner of Benjamin Cottrell designs.  Within this same time period, I also continued  my education at Ashford University, majoring in Business Management Entrepreneurship. My focus is now geared towards making my mark on the community on my own terms. 

My friends say that I am a person that tends to give my all and basically very much so driven. My ideal partner? This is a truly interesting question! My ideal partner is someone that I can trust! Money is not that big of an issue with me because I’m no stranger to making my own! Oh,.. lol knowing how to kiss is a must also! The color that best describes me is black. Hi Flyy-Life, My Name is Prince Sergio. I am from Memphis, TN and now work and live in Atlanta, GA. I work for a consulting firm doing investment contracts. My favorite hobby is watching Tom & Jerry on the weekend and sometimes if I can, throughout the week. Curtiss Alexander

Hi there Flyy-Life!!, My name is Curtiss Alexander and I am a Taurus who was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio.  As the youngest of my immediate family, I used the performing arts to create my own wonderland. Music, and later on down the line, dancing, became my therapy. It became my way of sorting out whatever was bothering me at the time. Playing the clarinet, keyboard, and dancing literally saved my life. I attended performing arts schools the majority of  my school life and even received a pre-professional contract with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. I really wanted to go to private school but my mom couldn’t afford it. An arts school was the next best thing to me. I didn’t want to go to a regular school because I knew I wouldn’t fit in.  After graduating from  Stivers School for the Arts, I attended Wilmington College where I double majored in Biology and Chemistry, and was also captain of the cheerleading team my sophomore year. I only started to cheer because people said I “jumped” really well. It wasn’t well received at first since no male at my school had cheered before. I was the first. I quit my junior year  and my senior year, I tried out again, and made Varsity. After the first game, people began to warm up to me so I stuck it out and I’m glad I did.  Despite the adversity I experienced, it opened a  few doors for me and provided the self-confidence I needed.

I moved away at the age of 20 to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I currently reside. A lot of people ask me why I picked this city. Two years prior to my move, I had to train in Pittsburgh for my summer job as a Cheerleading Instructor for Elite Inc.  Best job I ever had by the way. It allowed me to visit more cities than a lot of people my age I knew. I made some really good friends, went out on a limb and landed here. Currently, I am a nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and work for a national Pharmacy Benefits Manager. I enjoy various branches of science, specifically biology, oncology and pharmacology. I consider myself a humble, genuine, adventurous, charismatic, somewhat stubborn, androgynous, and a never-say-never individual. Sometimes it’s really hard for me to explain my persona to people. I can’t always just give a direct answer. My demeanor and reaction to various situations depend on several things. There have been times were I’m transparent, animated, candid, and a total goof ball. Other times, I can be really shy, and meek.  In my spare time, I enjoy writing, Starbucks, sushi, dancing, watching movies (either at home or the theatre), sleeping, and hanging out with close friends. People think I’m a conservative nerdy-country guy at times, especially in this city lol.  I don’t consider myself country, although people tend to because they say I have an accent. I like to have fun just as well as the next person, just in moderation. I’ll go out to a club and/or bar, but mostly when I’m traveling out of town. It’s rather humdrum for me here. I rather do dinner and a movie. I’m content with that at this point. It doesn’t always have to be glitz and glamour.  In 10 years, I would like to have completed my Bachelor of Science and possibly a Pharm program. After that, I would like to relocate to another city. I’ve honestly just learned to take things one step at a time. I tend to over-analyze things which can make me anxious and sometimes frustrated. If love happens along the way, that would be great, but accomplishing those goals I set for myself would allow me to really be at a place I’ve always envisioned for myself. As far as the type of guys I’d like to date, I’m so weird when it comes to guys. I like a lot of things. What I may like with one person may not necessarily work with another. Hi there Flyy-Life. I’m David Brandyn. I’m an actor, writer, and one half of Blunted Muse Productions. I am best known for playing Noel on the web series, NO SHADE.  Currently, I am excited to be writing, producing, and acting in the comedic variety series, Black Gay University.  While I’m not making online content, I host live events and voice my opinions through podcasting.  My proudest accomplishment this year is the completion of the first season of NO SHADE.  It was a journey that helped me solidify my life’s purpose, which is  to create.

I am a work-a-holic and love my job, yet manage to find time for art, fitness, books, and friends/family.  Besides growing as a person and in my career, I look forward to the possibilities of having my own family with children. Hi Flyy-Life, As native to the city, I surfaced on Chicago’s media scene as UR Chicago Online’s fashion contributor where I implemented the magazine’s premiere fashion photo shoots with local Djs, boutique owners, and other tastemakers. Since then, I’ve contributed to such luxury titles such as Michigan Ave. Magazine, CS Magazine, and The Men’s Book. I also write for The Huffington Post. Currently, I serve as the editor-at-large for ChicagoPride.com, the Midwest’s largest LGBT entertainment and news website. As ChicagoPride.com’s editor-at-large, I’ve interviewed community leaders including charity heads, activists, and other business leaders. I am responsible for bringing in a signature lineup of contributors, and have overall created a presence for the site among mainstream audiences in the city. Currently, I am also the event chair for the Joffrey Auxiliary Board and have most recently joined ALCC’s board of ambassadors.

I am currently working to brand myself through different business ventures, including the new #PawPower brand, which also serves as a message of empowerment to my peers. Products at the forefront are underwear and bedroom apparel for men. HotRod, who is a lover of people and humanity, has taken a seat amongst panelists in several seminars and discussions addressing many topics of concern within the black and overall gay community. I hope to use my brand to reach all kinds of people and benefit someone in some way. I am active on social media, connecting with my many fans who have endless questions and reach out to me for advice. My recently launched site, iamhotrod.com,  takes a different direction than people would imagine.  While still retaining the sex appeal that drew people to me; my audience will get a chance to also see the thinker, artist and person that I am, for me.

This is only the beginning. My ultimate turn on, I would have to say I’m an ass man. I like nice butts. lol. Most of my friends may say I’m difficult and a blonde. My ideal partner in life is beautiful inside and out. Date me because I’m lonely *sad face*. Through self reflection I have learned my biggest fear is being alone and my greatest qualities would have to be I’m honest and I have a big heart.
