…I’d like to think that I’m a man of exquisite taste… One Hundred percent Italian silk imported Egyptian lace…Nothin’ baby, I said nothin’ baby could compare to your lovely face… Tellin’ you just how fine you look…In a word, you were sex, All of my cool attitude you took and my body was next… Prince-Adore
This past January, I met with my team and vocalized my desire to do a sexy Valentine’s Day project. Staying in-line with our strategic goals, my only perimeters were to be provocative and innovative. I communicated my anguish at the new and popular trend of aggrandizing those with attractive exteriors, while grossly ignoring those with profoundly stimulating interiors. If mere men were going to personify and manifest The Fly-Life, then I needed nothing less than husband material. Regardless of demographic, socio-economic background or geographical location; I needed men that exemplified the core-concepts of our views on husband material. These were men that not only possessed physical beauty but also substance. As editor, I wanted to highlight men that were alluring and also profoundly upwardly mobile and mentally captivating. Men that, I myself, would connect with. My initial charge was to filter through the masses and settle on fifty. As content began to pour in, I quickly realized, fifty was too large of a number to adequately give these men the platform to exert themselves. These men had stories and they needed to be told. The team and I settled on my lucky number 17 and the fun began.
The Flyy-Life 17 Most Flyy & Eligible Bachelors was born. These gentlemen exemplified not only the upmost sophistication and professionalism, but they also possessed stories and insight that gave each of them substance. These are the men of our community that are exhausting due-diligence to stay on the upwardly mobile path while also looking great while doing it. These are the future leaders and standard bearers of our community. These are the men that would make anyone happy; intimately, mentally, physically and professionally. Especially me. These men have embraced a mentality that understands “fabness” is not manifested in how many oiled abs you may spotlight on cyberspace. Fabness is the ability to bring substance to the table and understand that the exhausting plight to remain upwardly mobile, regardless of your current station in life, is the way to ensure a successful and respectful future. That’s what me and my peers respect. As a bachelor, you may not have reached your mountain top yet, but you are well on your way and that’s the type of man I want on my arms. The one I can submit too and be the most vulnerable and intimate with, yet make mind blowing love to in the middle of the night. I present to you, The Flyy-Life 17 Most Flyy & Eligible Bachelors.
…If God one day struck me, struck me blind…Your beauty I’d still see. Love is too weak to define, Just what you mean to me…When we be makin’ love ,I only hear the sounds, Heavenly angels cryin’ above,Tears of joy pourin’ down on us… Prince-Adore

I come from a loving family and anyone I date, I would have an expectation for them to be genuine and organic in their day to day life. It would also be nice to have “A Boss” … Meaning, someone who is in control of their life and living very comfortable; while I’m successful, it would be ideal to have someone on my team with equal motivation and life experience. KeVonte’ Cockrell- Baltimore, Maryland
Hi Flyy-Life, I’m KeVonte’. Basically I love life and I love living life. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, restaurants, laughing, and socializing with quality people; It’s just better living and sharing life with someone else. I’m a realistic guy from Nashville, Tennessee and after graduating from Tennessee State University with a BBA in Accounting Technology in 2008, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to further my education in Nursing; receiving my ASN and being employed as a Pediatrics Registered Nurse.
I moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 2010 in pursuit of becoming a Nurse Midwife; sidetracked and now currently finishing my studies to receive a Post-Masters certification in Addictions Counseling. I’m bilingual, speaking Spanish on a conversational medical level. I’m a Cancer and I definitely live up to my zodiac sign. Six things I could never do without: Great food, Music, 5 Senses, Love, Sex and Adrenaline. I used to say the ocean/beach, but I’ve since learned that I would give up the beach for some daily spooning. My ultimate turn on is great teeth and clean shoes. I see my ideal partner being something I have never experienced before. No matter what happens, at the end of the day I’ll make you smile, laugh, and wonder, “How come I’ve never met a guy like this before?” On a typical Friday night I am: Trying to figure out the major and minor products when 1-bromo-2-propene reacts with potassium tert-butoxide. Either that or partying.
RaShaan Houston- Chicago, Illinois
Greetings Flyy-Life. To put it simple, I am a multi-talented vocalist, award nominated songwriter, internationally recognized recording artist, performer, acclaimed event producer, radio personality, host and taste-maker. I’m not sure how much of a secret it is anymore, but I am an amazing cook and cooking for people I truly care about makes me very happy. One way to know I have a lot of love for you is if I offer to cook for you. I find cooking very relaxing and therapeutic and seeing someone enjoy a meal I’ve prepared brings me a lot of joy. One motto in life I keep in mind in all endeavors is “success has many fathers and failure is an orphan.” I constantly remind myself in life and in my career that there will always be an ebb and flow with peaks and valleys. I accepted the reality a long time ago that when things are going well there will always be someone around to help you take credit for the successful outcome, however when things aren’t the best, very few, if any want to own responsibility for that. I fully own all my successes and failures equally.
I can talk for hours about pop culture, entertainment, music, and history. I am more knowledgeable about vintage entertainment than I am about things that is current, however it’s all relateable considering everything old is new again. My dream occupation (which I’m currently building) is to direct a entertainment company focused on nurturing new and up and coming talent with artist development, coaching, and music production services. I have always supported other artists and new talent and I would like to always be a support system for those pursuing careers in entertainment. I’ve learned a lot about the industry over the years and I’m always eager to help the next artist avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made.

Malawtic Surreal- Brooklyn, New York
Wass good Flyy-Life. I’m the artist Malawtic Surreal pronounced (melodic). I’m a creative director by default and a visualist by birth. I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York and I’m working on my first solo album in which I sing and rap. Music is the core of my life and yes, I love all genres. My ultimate turn on is sexual aggression. Most people would never expect that from me due to my dominant demeanor, but it is in fact sexy to me. Nothing turns me on more than the feeling of my partner letting the world know that they’ll do whatever it takes to keep me forever. I would say my greatest quality I believe is my communication skills. I can listen just as well speak to you in depth about my overt analyzation. I’m a skillful poet. I view the entire world threw my poetic artist eyes.
I’ve been told I suffer from a severe case of (Peter Pan syndrome )! My heart will 4 ever be young ! Why should you want to date me? Well that’s easy. I’m genetically the perfect counter- part for you. I’m a humble dominant husband. The protector, the friend, the lover and the sexual pleaser. I’d make its my daily duty to be spontaneous and constantly surprising you. It’s beyond the physical for me. I want your mind, your heart… tattoo my name on your soul. My dream would be for us to be the unpredictable power couple! Nothing and no one can hinder us from joy and success. I really don’t have any fears, honestly (but I do day dream ). I want to grow old with the love of my life and raise kids. I want to travel the world and make love. I want us to learn each other and maybe, just maybe, even meet again in the next life just to do it all over again! What would be a perfect date to me?…Well even though I’m a gentleman most days, I’m also a very naughty boy. I would like to go out for sushi and two bottles of red wine. My hopes would be to “get some” when the great date comes to an end (shhhhh we all feel this way sorry to spoil it for ya !!) lol I guess u can call this page of my life #DRUNKinLUST …
Durell Arthur- New York, New York
Wassup Flyy-Life, My name is Durell Arthur, and I am a current resident of New York City. Before NYC, I lived in Chicago for 5 years during which time I set a goal for myself to see as much of the world as possible before I turned 25 years old. My travels took me to 30 of the United States, Canada, 6 Caribbean countries, 11 countries in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, specifically Dubai, and Australia. On my journey around the world, I encountered people of so many different cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances; however, these differences shared a common thread that I identified with so strongly…life is what you make it. And with that ideal leading the way, I moved to NYC to discover who I could be. Since moving to NYC, I embraced my passion to create and became a multi-media artist with a primary focus on music. My passion to create has lead me to become a web designer, a choreographer, and a recording artist. The current project that I am working is my debut album, “Love.”. “Love.” is a musical representation of me at the present with a peak into my past while expressing my desires for the future. On a more personal note, I feel because of all that I’ve experienced in such a short time, I am attracted to truly driven and determined people. My ultimate turn on is a person who is truly happy with their life and what they doing with it. It’s an indescribable feeling that comes over me when I experience that joy radiating from within a person. It truly makes me happy all over, and anyone who knows me knows that I love to be happy as much as possible.
My friends will tell you that I am a joy to be around because I’m always determined to have a good time, and it is also because of that determination that they would say that I can be overwhelming in regards to the amount of things that I will do to have a good time. I take the phrase, “there are no limits in life unless you put them there”, to the next level. That ideal is also why I love my job so much. The endless possibilities of creation keeps me not only invested but also interested in what I do. Now despite all of the activity that I have going on, my favorite past time is actually sleeping. Give me a comfortable bed and quiet anytime. The simpler things in life are what I truly couldn’t live without. So with all that said, if you’re looking for a man who is driven, determined, different, and embraces life with open arms, holla at me. I’m waiting for you.
Marcellus Shields- Chicago, Illinois
Hi Flyy-Life, As Chicago native and the youngest of seven children, I’ve always remained motivated to get things accomplished no matter the circumstances! At the age of 23, I became part owner of a modeling agency named Ruffstone Productions. Although I later moved on from this company, my focus remained strong. Through the course of a couple of years, I later started a promotional company which I named after my childhood nick name, Celleau Productions. Within a years time, my company had been responsible for getting artists on 13 digital radio stations and booked at shows held at many of the prominent clubs within our community. In 2014, I am excited to marking my 11th show, collaborating with Benjamin Cottrell, owner of Benjamin Cottrell designs. Within this same time period, I also continued my education at Ashford University, majoring in Business Management Entrepreneurship. My focus is now geared towards making my mark on the community on my own terms.
My friends say that I am a person that tends to give my all and basically very much so driven. My ideal partner? This is a truly interesting question! My ideal partner is someone that I can trust! Money is not that big of an issue with me because I’m no stranger to making my own! Oh,.. lol knowing how to kiss is a must also! The color that best describes me is black. This is because some say I can be a bit mysterious! But I truly think, it comes from being in an environment that always forced me to keep certain things hidden! Being in a chaotic upbringing and the whole process of having to wear a persona consisting of mainly the thickest makeup! So as much as you know about me you will never really know me! My secret talent is I happen to dance really well! I can damn near hang with the best! The best days of my life are spent with family or just having alone time! Everyone needs that escapism, to just relax and take on anew day. Music is a huge part of my life! I listen to Sade and Janet a lot! A great deal of singers voices I find a bit harsh but yeah, those are two that ease my mind.
Prince Sergio- Atlanta, Georgia
Hi Flyy-Life, My Name is Prince Sergio. I am from Memphis, TN and now work and live in Atlanta, GA. I work for a consulting firm doing investment contracts. My favorite hobby is watching Tom & Jerry on the weekend and sometimes if I can, throughout the week. An interesting fact about me is that I take care of my mom as much as possible, not because I have to but because I love her. Yes, Im a momma’s boy lol. .My ultimate turn on is…. KISSING. I love it with a passion. The one thing I couldn’t live without is strawberry cheesecake. I mean, what can I say…lol.. I know I’m in love when I began to think about my lover more so than I think about myself….I have a weakness for affection and passion You’d be surprised if you knew this about me but being sprung is a good feeling. Im not over compulsive with it, but I like it…LOTS LOL! By the way… I AM A CAPRICORN!
In addition to having fun 110% of the time, I enjoy spending time with my close friends and family that I love. My all time favorites are having conversations, cooking, and shopping with my peeps loves. I truly enjoy this time and would’t trade them it for the world.
Pierre “Prince Charming” Phipps
Wassup Flyy-Life, My name is Pierre Phipps. I currently live in Los Angeles, but I was born and raised in Chicago. I studied Television Production at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and I’m also a part of the Award winning rap duo “Freaky Boiz.” My friends may say I’m very resourceful. They nicknamed me “google” because I usually have the answer to all of their questions, and if I don’t I can find them. I’m a thrill-seeker. I will choose jumping out of a plane over going to the club any day! If I had an autobiography it would most definitely be called “The voices in my head”. I know it sounds crazy but it’s the truth. I have so many things going on inside my head at one time and it’s what keeps me sane.
If I ever woke up with nothing to do, I would lose it. I generally flirt by cracking jokes. It’s nothing more rewarding than making the guy you like smile. I have a weakness for dream chasers. I love meeting people who are trying their best to make their dreams come true. I don’t believe in settling , never did, never will. I want to date someone who is happy. He doesn’t have to be where he wants to be in life but he has to know he is getting there. My ultimate turn off is slackers. Anyone that sleeps after 10am on a weekday is not my type. I start my day off at 6am everyday of the week. I don’t expect you to be up at 6am everyday but at least 10am. Too much money out there for you to still be sleeping. “Getcho Ass up”
Hi there Flyy-Life!!, My name is Curtiss Alexander and I am a Taurus who was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. As the youngest of my immediate family, I used the performing arts to create my own wonderland. Music, and later on down the line, dancing, became my therapy. It became my way of sorting out whatever was bothering me at the time. Playing the clarinet, keyboard, and dancing literally saved my life. I attended performing arts schools the majority of my school life and even received a pre-professional contract with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. I really wanted to go to private school but my mom couldn’t afford it. An arts school was the next best thing to me. I didn’t want to go to a regular school because I knew I wouldn’t fit in. After graduating from Stivers School for the Arts, I attended Wilmington College where I double majored in Biology and Chemistry, and was also captain of the cheerleading team my sophomore year. I only started to cheer because people said I “jumped” really well. It wasn’t well received at first since no male at my school had cheered before. I was the first. I quit my junior year and my senior year, I tried out again, and made Varsity. After the first game, people began to warm up to me so I stuck it out and I’m glad I did. Despite the adversity I experienced, it opened a few doors for me and provided the self-confidence I needed.
I moved away at the age of 20 to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I currently reside. A lot of people ask me why I picked this city. Two years prior to my move, I had to train in Pittsburgh for my summer job as a Cheerleading Instructor for Elite Inc. Best job I ever had by the way. It allowed me to visit more cities than a lot of people my age I knew. I made some really good friends, went out on a limb and landed here. Currently, I am a nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and work for a national Pharmacy Benefits Manager. I enjoy various branches of science, specifically biology, oncology and pharmacology. I consider myself a humble, genuine, adventurous, charismatic, somewhat stubborn, androgynous, and a never-say-never individual. Sometimes it’s really hard for me to explain my persona to people. I can’t always just give a direct answer. My demeanor and reaction to various situations depend on several things. There have been times were I’m transparent, animated, candid, and a total goof ball. Other times, I can be really shy, and meek. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, Starbucks, sushi, dancing, watching movies (either at home or the theatre), sleeping, and hanging out with close friends. People think I’m a conservative nerdy-country guy at times, especially in this city lol. I don’t consider myself country, although people tend to because they say I have an accent. I like to have fun just as well as the next person, just in moderation. I’ll go out to a club and/or bar, but mostly when I’m traveling out of town. It’s rather humdrum for me here. I rather do dinner and a movie. I’m content with that at this point. It doesn’t always have to be glitz and glamour. In 10 years, I would like to have completed my Bachelor of Science and possibly a Pharm program. After that, I would like to relocate to another city. I’ve honestly just learned to take things one step at a time. I tend to over-analyze things which can make me anxious and sometimes frustrated. If love happens along the way, that would be great, but accomplishing those goals I set for myself would allow me to really be at a place I’ve always envisioned for myself. As far as the type of guys I’d like to date, I’m so weird when it comes to guys. I like a lot of things. What I may like with one person may not necessarily work with another. I do like guys on the nerdy side. Just something about a sexy nerd that makes me know it lol. I’m not caught up on gender conformity. I think a mix of everything is bliss. An absolute deal breaker for me is a guy that’s intimidated by me. It’s a huge turn off. I need confidence, even a little cockiness. I am attracted to observers and talkers. I’m just weird. I just want someone that’s willing to bring the best out of me and allow me to bring the best out of them.
David Brandyn- New York, New York
Hi there Flyy-Life. I’m David Brandyn. I’m an actor, writer, and one half of Blunted Muse Productions. I am best known for playing Noel on the web series, NO SHADE. Currently, I am excited to be writing, producing, and acting in the comedic variety series, Black Gay University. While I’m not making online content, I host live events and voice my opinions through podcasting. My proudest accomplishment this year is the completion of the first season of NO SHADE. It was a journey that helped me solidify my life’s purpose, which is to create.
I am a work-a-holic and love my job, yet manage to find time for art, fitness, books, and friends/family. Besides growing as a person and in my career, I look forward to the possibilities of having my own family with children. I like men who are ambitious, have a purpose, and aim to be great. My ideal partner can make me laugh, has a humble confidence, and live their life fearlessly. What color best describes me? I would say dark purple and my pet peeve is bad manners. Oh, and I LOVE coffee too!!
Clifford Doyle- Los Angeles, California
Wassup again, Flyy- Life. I am Clifford Doyle, a former professional model born in Chicago and raised in Kansas City Missouri. I currently relocated to Los Angeles, California for professional growth. I began my plight in the study of cosmetics at the tender age of 13 and moved on to become a renowned hairstylist. I am a hopeless romantic and enjoy fine champagne and chocolate covered strawberries at Chicago’s lakefront. I’ve become known to attend some of Chicago’s most exclusive events and has now transitioned into the L.A social scene. I have a gift that helps people see and realize their beauty, both inside and out. I admit, I am very critical of myself and my work because I’m a perfectionist. But I also admit to being vulnerable, self-conscious and self-reflective. In the industry, I am known for my weaving technique. Not only am I am a skilled colorist and sculptor, but I’m also known for inserting “extensions that grow.” My celebrity clientele includes Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child), Deborah Cox (entertainer), Skylar Starks (model), Shawnna(rap artist), Corri McFadden (House of Consignment), Karyn Calabrese (restaurateur), Latoya London (American Idol), Feather Magee (Coming To America) & Demi Grace (pop artist).
I am most proud of my family previous involvement in the Black Panther Party and South African protest for Nelson Mandela. A little known fact about me is that I also possesses a “green thumb.” I have perfected a method of growing roses in which I plant white roses and nurture them with water mixed with food coloring to produce a rose of any color you desire. My ultimate turn on is a sexy nerdy guy in sandals. My ultimate turn off is guys who wear “doo-rags” in public. My secret talent is personal training and I must admit, I love my job because I get to express my creative side in my work and attire. My life motto is, it has no choice but to be awesome, so live it to your max potential!!
Terrence Chappell – Chicago, Illinois
Hi Flyy-Life, As native to the city, I surfaced on Chicago’s media scene as UR Chicago Online’s fashion contributor where I implemented the magazine’s premiere fashion photo shoots with local Djs, boutique owners, and other tastemakers. Since then, I’ve contributed to such luxury titles such as Michigan Ave. Magazine, CS Magazine, and The Men’s Book. I also write for The Huffington Post. Currently, I serve as the editor-at-large for ChicagoPride.com, the Midwest’s largest LGBT entertainment and news website. As ChicagoPride.com’s editor-at-large, I’ve interviewed community leaders including charity heads, activists, and other business leaders. I am responsible for bringing in a signature lineup of contributors, and have overall created a presence for the site among mainstream audiences in the city. Currently, I am also the event chair for the Joffrey Auxiliary Board and have most recently joined ALCC’s board of ambassadors.
Friends may say I’m loyal, silly, approachable, a bit ratchet, confident, awkward, fun, all smiles, a secret momma’s boy, helpless romantic, thrill seeker, risk taker and a gentleman. My secret talent would have to be I know how to surf. I learned how to surf during my summer in Coffs Harbour in Australia. My ideal partner is fun and accepting and my life motto is “MAKE IT RAIN!!” lol..I couldn’t live without my family, friends, laughter, White Castle, baked brie, honey buns, Prosecco, Pandora, Harold’s Chicken, silver foxes, fresh linings, green tea, Jack Black products, and barbeque sauce – all in that order! I don’t know how to flirt, so I just sort of smile a lot and hope it works out! I have a weakness for guys who wear glasses, and my ultimate turn on is humor. Interestingly, I can talk for hours about serial killers. I’ve always had a morbid curiosity about their minds and if I weren’t in journalism and social media, I’d probably be a profiler for the FBI.
Rod- Brooklyn, New York
Wassup Flyy-Life, I am Rod aka HotRod. I am an award-winning (Former) Adult Entertainer/model, artist, designer, philanthropist and creator of PawPower brand apparel and iamhotrod.com. As a young veteran in the adult entertainment industry, I have appeared in many titles and carry a highly recognized name in ethnic as well as mainstream gay films. Considering my passions are art and business, this path a was bit unexpected, to say the least. With a spirit of relentless determination, I decided I would embrace who I became and take on the challenge of succeeding despite having a job that many would frown upon. Using my natural business mentality and a little charm, I began to plan my future as an artist, businessman and eventual mogul. Recently, while still at the height of my adult career, I decided I was no longer interested in performing in adult films. I am currently working to brand myself through different business ventures, including the new #PawPower brand, which also serves as a message of empowerment to my peers. Products at the forefront are underwear and bedroom apparel for men. HotRod, who is a lover of people and humanity, has taken a seat amongst panelists in several seminars and discussions addressing many topics of concern within the black and overall gay community. I hope to use my brand to reach all kinds of people and benefit someone in some way. I am active on social media, connecting with my many fans who have endless questions and reach out to me for advice. My recently launched site, iamhotrod.com, takes a different direction than people would imagine. While still retaining the sex appeal that drew people to me; my audience will get a chance to also see the thinker, artist and person that I am, for me.
This is only the beginning. My ultimate turn on, I would have to say I’m an ass man. I like nice butts. lol. Most of my friends may say I’m difficult and a blonde. My ideal partner in life is beautiful inside and out. Date me because I’m lonely *sad face*. Through self reflection I have learned my biggest fear is being alone and my greatest qualities would have to be I’m honest and I have a big heart. I generally show my love by putting myself (wants, needs, desires) in 2nd place. I know I’m in love when I begin to lose sight of everything but you. I generally flirt by using eye contact or smile. A fun fact about me is that I’m shy and my life motto is “could’ve, should’ve, would’ve, didn’t happen, moving on…”
Randy Bailey-Chicago, IL
Hello Flyy-Life, My name is, Randy Bailey. I am a professional Makeup Artist. I’ve been blessed to have worked with some of today’s hottest stars including, Kim Kardashian, Fantasia and Mary J. Blidge- just to name a few.
Having my work featured around the word on magazine covers in, Paris, on the red carpet and television has been exciting so far. I am currently residing in Chicago with possible plans of relocating to, New York later this year for my career. I’m a Capricorn. We’re hard workers, ambitious, logical and we love hard.
I’m a laid back, chill type of guy. I appreciate peace and serenity. I believe that whatever you give onto the universe, it will come back to you. So I do my best to be a good person. I’ve been single for over five years now. I’m very selective and I know what I want and need. I don’t believe in meaningless dating. So I don’t wast my time. If someone grabs my attention I will explore. Most dudes are inconsistent. They don’t understand the heritage of a real date or for that matter how-to-date.
I’m looking for stability, maturity and confidence. Honesty, someone who is well groomed with healthy morals and mad sex appeal. I have a pretty high sex drive but I am far from promiscuous, so I need to be satisfied and I will return the favor. No ambition, master plan or career goals are my ultimate turn offs in addition to bad hygiene and arrogance. My ideal partner will adore me. Be infatuated with my being as I will he. Understands what real love and appreciates it. My ultimate turn on’s are pretty boys with beautiful eyes, a pretty smile along with intellect. A stimulating conversation goes a long way. My biggest fear is being successful but not having someone to share it with. Growing old, alone. A color that would best describe me is red. I’m a passionate person with lots of fire. I believe that romance is still alive. If I am making an effort to date you it’s because I see potential for something great that could lead to a happy, ever after…
