On last evening, United Black Pride presented the Welcome Reception Rooftop Party at the Inn of Chicago just steps away from legendary Magnificent Mile.  Although it’s been well circulated that this year Pride activities has received low support and participation, this event was by far one of the best and most sophisticated  events I’ve been to this year. Held on the 22^nd floor rooftop, by 7pm the guest began to arrive and we were immediately sent into a “grown & sexy” trance by the beauty of the sexy skyscrapers that penetrated a cerulean sky known as “the last hour before sunset.” Very reminiscent of Sade, Cherish The Day. As night slayed the evening and drinks flowed, you began to realize you were in the intimate presence of some of the most beautiful  men, women and visitors of the city. The uniformed guest staff served even more drinks and the music flowed. Sophisticated and sexy conversations were held, cards exchanged  and connections made. The guest laughed and frolicked until about 11pm as they began to leave for the night and cruise down Michigan Ave. home.

 

 

In all honesty, I’m not sure where this came from, but gentleman please keep it up. These are the type of events that the sexy not only look forward to attend but it also adds a sophisticated stamp on our city from visiting guest of Pride. Weekly night clubs are fine for some, but we need an intimate outlet where the grown and sexy can convene and intimately hold court. That’s all….Cheers on a job well done gentlemen…Deo
