To suffer with him, I know that I shall reign; in his arms over there, in that land bright and fair…To suffer with him and to feel his pain, to carry my cross, is the reason why he came – just to save my soul and to make me whole…To gain my peace from the storms that tear my heart into pieces where no love can dwell there. To gain my robe and to gain my crown. To suffer is Christ, to go thru is Christ oh to live is Christ and to die is gain…

As the year comes to an end, we at The Flyy-Life continue our annual In Memoriam column to pay a lasting tribute to those fallen angels that left us this past year. Last year we were humbled to get encouraging and positive feedback from friends and family of the deceased and we only pray that this article reassures the family of the men and women listed this year, that their lives were not in vain. We dedicate this piece as an urban requiem honoring those that made an impact but recently left us. They invested themselves as stakeholders and trailblazers within our community. We at The Flyy-Life wish to pay them lasting respect and homage by memorializing their contribution. Our In Memoriam of 2014 is dedicated to the following that we lost, but faithfully trust they are beyond in the eternal city of the beloved…
