By- DeoVonte “Deo” Means

On Saturday, I was privileged to attend The Gentlemen of Distinction red masque party. This was my first year attending what is apparently an annual affair. The Gentlemen of Distinction was established in 2011 for purposes of serving the LGBT community. Their goal is to establish a LGBT youth center on the Southside of Chicago.  The elite of the LGBT community descended to support the fellas and host paid every attention to the details. The catered hors doe’uvre were amazing and the open bar and unlimited drinks served by the sexiest men of our community was also a highlight. The samba dancers added a flair to the night that was already jumping. I would reckon to guess it was a successful night for the gentlemen. Club owners, promoters, socialites and spectators all came together to support a community iniativie and it was delightful! I enjoyed myself and will definitely be in attendance at the next function.
